WWE Tables Ladders & Chairs PREDICTIONS

WWE’s Tables, Ladders and Chairs this year comes from The SAP Center in San Jose, California, on 16th December 2018.

This will be WWE’s last PPV before the 2019 Royal Rumble, and will potentially be the start of the Road to WrestleMania.

WWE Intercontinental Championship

Seth Rollins (c) vs. Dean Ambrose

This match is not going to be for the faint of heart – I reckon that this will be one of the hardest hitting contests on the show, and with no stipulation specified as yet, there is still time that WWE will indeed add one between now and TLC. I can see an Ambrose win

Prediction: Dean Ambrose (New Intercontinental Champion)
Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match

Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin

If Braun Strowman wins then he will get a Universal Title match at Royal Rumble, and Baron Corbin will be stripped of all power on Raw.

If Corbin wins then he becomes the permanent General Manager of Raw.

This could in my opinion go one of a couple of ways. Either, Braun will be back for a very short match maybe hit one powerslam and pin Corbin, or we will see the debut of Lars Sullivan as Braun’s replacement, or indeed the return of Bray Wyatt. Either way I reckon Corbin is losing this match.

Prediction: Braun Strowman (Or his replacement)

WWE Championship

Daniel Bryan (c) vs. AJ Styles

This will be one for the ages, I just hope WWE give these guys enough time to just do exactly what they want. Give this a solid 30/45 Mins and let them wrestle! This will be one hell of a contest which I believe will be won by Daniel Bryan

Prediction: Daniel Bryan

Raw Women’s Championship

Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Nia Jax

So, this one is hard to call, considering all the rumours about the WrestleMania match, and will Rousey be in the Rumble etc. I can see this having no conclusive finish, or some kind of screwy finish which may even include the newly cleared Alexa Bliss. Ronda will leave as Champion, but may not necesarily do it via pinning or tapping Nia out.

Prediction: No Contest (Rousey leaves as Champ)

SmackDown Women’s Championship
Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka

To be the Man, you’ve gotta beat The Man… And I believe that Asuka will do just that, she will climb the ladder, retrieve the championship. My belief is that Becky is over enough whether she has the championship or not, but I do think that she is entering, and ultimately winning, the Royal Rumble. Possibly leading to Charlotte facing Asuka for the title at Rumble and winning that, or we get the Charlotte vs. Asuka rematch at WrestleMania.

Prediction: Asuka (New Champ)

Drew McIntyre vs. Finn Balor

Depending on what version of Balor we get here will determine whether he wins or not. I can see McIntyre winning it comfortably, unless he faces the Demon. In which case, the match I believe, will swing in favour of Finn Balor.

Prediction: Drew McIntyre

Ladder Match (Guitar suspended above Ring)

Bobby Lashley vs. Elias

In this match there will be a guitar suspended above the ring, with the first competitor to climb the ladder and retrieve it being able to use it. I can see Elias coming out on top in this one.

Prediction: Elias

SmackDown Tag Team Championships

The Bar (C) vs. The New Day vs. The Uso’s

The staple of the SmackDown tag team division (arguably WWE’s entire Tag Division) for the past number of years, these three teams will square off in what has the potential to steal the show. It’s so hard to pick a winner, as there are Pros and Cons for all three teams. I will go with The Bar retaining

Prediction: The Bar

Tables Match

Natalya vs. Ruby Riott

A match that has been in the makings for a while, with the Riott Squad constantly attacking Nattie and even putting her through a table, and bringing out a table with a cutout of Nattie’s late father, Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart on it. Logan and Morgan could well play a part in this match, and I can see Ruby getting the win to elevate her up the rankings in the Women’s division.

Prediction: Ruby Riott
WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Buddy Murphy (C) vs. Cedric Alexander

I can see a Buddy Murphy retention again here in a great showcase match for the 205 Live division.

Prediction: Buddy Murphy

Chairs Match

Randy Orton vs. Rey Mysterio

Randy’s complacency and his obsession with de-masking Rey could hinder his progress in this one, I can see the master of the 619 coming out on top in his home state and can see him doing some crazy spots with the chairs… Maybe a 619 with a chair? Who knows.

Prediction: Rey Mysterio

Mixed Match Challenge Final

Winning team become #30 in Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches

Fabulous Truth (R-Truth & Carmella) vs. Mahalicia (Jinder Mahal & Alicia Fox)

The two teams I guess no one really fancied to do much in the Mixed Match challenge, this was really the only scenario which made sense as the other competitors are all in rather high profile matches and wouldn’t want to be pulling double duties. I can see this being a fun match with Truth and Carmella coming out on top to head into their respective Rumbles at number 30.

Prediction: Fabulous Truth
