The pop legend is back again, this time with his latest album “Heavy Entertainment show” which will be released on November 4th. To celebrate the new album and becoming the 2017 recipient of the BRIT Awards prestigious “Icon Award”, Robbie Williams is set to play a one off show at the legendary Troxy in the heart of East London on November 7th. Robbie does not play venues of the size much anymore and it is sure to be a one of a kind experience with the boy from Stoke.
The BRITS con Award celebrates artists that have made a huge impact on British music. The Robbie Williams website explains that the awards is presented “to artists whose writing, recording and performances have set them apart as having made a lasting impact on British culture, recognising the very highest level of British musical achievement”.
The statement goes on to give more details on the intimate Troxy gig, hinting at a few surprises and special moments such as “an interview with Robbie as well as interviews with key figures and friends who have influenced his life and career”.
The show is also planned to be recorded as part of a 90 minute special on the artist which will be featured on ITV later in the year. Tickets go on sale this coming Monday at 12pm.
