History of Football in Highbury & Islington Tour



Walk in the steps of football legends and pioneers as we take a trip through Highbury & Islington’s most famous football landmarks. Learn about the rich history of the game in the borough with tales spanning the introduction of top-flight football to the area in 1913 to the infamous Tuesday Club antics of the 1990s.

Tours run on weekends from 10am and 2pm* lasting for approximately 3 hours. The price includes the tour, food and drink.

*If a match day falls on a weekend then we will only run the 10am tour on that day. Custom private weekday tours are available and can be requested via emailing tours@rebnoise.com

Your guide will take you on a journey through football history with the opportunity to replicate the match day routines of both years gone by and the modern game as your tour includes sampling local cuisine and drinks at proper Gooner pubs.
