Gene Wilder passes away

The comedic genius known for his roles in hits such as “Blazing Saddles”, “Hear No Evil, See No Evil” and “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” has passed away at age 83 due to complications with Alzheimer’s disease. Gene Wilder had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease three years ago but had kept it private, something his nephew Jordan Walker-Pearlman alluded to in his statement about the actors death in which he told of how Wilder had not wanted to publicise his battle because “He simply couldn’t bear the idea of one less smile in the world”.

The Golden Globe winning actor will be remembered for his many great roles and the joy he brought tot he world through them. We at Rebellious Noise would like to thank him for the laughs he gave the world and offer our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends at this difficult time.
