These meals cost just £1.49 each and you’re going to find out whether or not they’re a bargain or a stomach destroyer.

Once again there will be four podcasts in the Talk and Beans Christmas Spectacular 2017 series which will feature comedic movie reviews and discussion about The Night Before, Home Alone 3, Die Hard 2 featuring special guests and another Christmas Special where Tom and Scott once again tell funny Christmas themed stories, discuss traditions, memories and presents.

VIDEO: Wetherspoon’s Pizza Review

Wetherspoon’s now do Pizza and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try it. The toppings on the Spicy Meat Feast lead to more Beer consumption but that’s probably a win for both parties. It seems to be a trial at the moment and is being tested in a few Wetherspoon’s pubs and I managed to track it down in Gatwick Airport, of all places!

The Pizza’s were a little more expensive at our location as the entire menu was in line with the higher end of Wetherspoon’s menu’s at airports, financial districts and tourist areas etc. but from what I have seen so far most locations trialling the cuisine have stuck to the regular menu pricing and the Pizzas generally range from £4.99 – £6.99.

Celebrating 10 years of Rebellious Noise

The new 3310 has a battery life of one month, a new Snake and will be around £40

After all the speculation surrounding the relaunch of the beloved Nokia 3310, it has now been revealed at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The company behind the new version of the phone are HMD Global, a Finnish company who have acquired the rights to the Nokia brand and has many former Nokia employees within their ranks.

The new model looks similar to the original but is slightly thinner and has a colour screen that is also bigger than the originals. Other new additions include an SD card slot, headphone jack, FM radio and a two-megapixel camera.

Fans of the original will be happy to know that some of the most loved features from the Y2K phone are making returns, including a battery life of 30 days when on standby, an updated version of Snake and is said to be fairly durable as well.

The phone is expected to be released in the Summer at around £40. Internet is available on the device but it’s pretty basic at 2.5G and does not include modern smartphone staples such as Whatsapp and Facebook. But, it is only £40, so fair enough.

If you can’t wait for the new version of Snake then don’t forget that you can download Snake II on iOS here. We’re still waiting to hear whether or not you can make songs on composer again though!

Nokia to re-launch the classic Nokia 3310

One of the most iconic phones in history looks to be making a comeback. Evan Blass, who is known for leaking information has come out and said that Nokia will be releasing a homage to the Nokia 3310 alongside the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona later this month. The Nokia 3310 was originally released in 2000 and had replaced the popular and also much loved predecessor model the Nokia 3210. But the 3310 clearly stole the show selling 126 million units sold worldwide.

The iconic phone has had a revival through a nostalgic fuelled love in recent years with memes pointing out it’s long battery life and durability compared to modern day smart phones.

But the biggest feature the world needs back from the Nokia 3310 is Snake II (which you can download for iOS here) and possibly some classic Grime tunes made on Composer for Ringtones again.

Netflix finally adds Offline Mode for it’s App

The streaming service has finally announced that it will allow users on iOS and Android devices to download their favourite Films and TV Shows to their devices to use without WiFi or Data. Netflix fans have been waiting for this for many years, since other streaming services like All 4 and BBC iPlayer have had their own ‘Offline Mode’ for a number of years.

Downloadable content can easily be found in the “Available for Download” category inside the app and it currently has TV Shows such as Better Call Saul, Black Mirror, Breaking Bad, Narcos and House just to name a few as well as a rich list in Movies available for download also.

Netflix is the largest streaming company world of it’s kind and this will surely be another great step in the right direction for the company. We just hope that the “Netflix and Chill” phenomenon doesn’t end up on the London Underground with it.

Vans release Toy Story collection

The legendary skate brand Vans have released a Toy Story themed collection in the US and it will be hitting the UK soon. The collection comes after the brands venture into Nintendo themed clothing earlier this year which gained a lot of positive attention and we are sure that the brand new Toy Story line will do the same.

vansalientoyThe collection has both mens and womenswear and is currently on show on the Vans website. Long sleeved T-Shirts, Sweatshirts, Socks, Shoes (Complete with “Andy” on the soles), backpacks and more are all part of the Pixar classic inspired clothing line. Have a look at the awesome Toy Story themed products on offer from Vans here.

We are looking forward to getting some of this awesome apparel here in the UK and to those tube journeys where we try and suss out who has “Andy” written on the bottom of their feet. With Nintendo and Toy Story both having great collections through the brand, we are hopeful that Vans will continue this licensing trend to bring us more awesome clothing in the near future.
