Breaking news is that the pop legend George Michael has passed away. The superstars publicist has confirmed that he has passed away at his home peacefully.
The iconic pop star had rose to fame in the 1980s with Wham and went on to be a major solo artist in the 1990s and beyond.
Police visited the home of the singer in Oxford earlier today at around 2pm and have stated that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
George had announced earlier this month that he had been working on a new album.
